Binding worn and rather chipped at edges. First edition with with the botanical text contributed by John Lindley. Sir Richard Bagge was born at Stradsett in Norfolk, son of Thomas Philip Bagge and Grace Salisbury. Thomas Bagge employed J. C. Loudon to layout and landscape his grounds at the hall making this an interesting association copy.
