Each is illustrated with striking b/w photographs and a selection of quotations by Saarinen, taken from interviews, notes, articles etc. and assembled by his wife. Plus 9pp of quotations from Saarinen on his design philosophy, an a brief section on his furniture design. Printed on heavyweight cream paper, this is a lovely piece of book design, showcasing Saarinen's work perfectly through its atmospheric photography. Bookplate of Michael and José Manser on front end paper. Loosely inserted hand written review of the book, presumably by José Manser.
