128pp, b/w plates. 4to. With very good dust wrapper. A great collection of images by Maier who took huge numbers of photographs alongside working as a nanny. From the 1950s until the 1990s took over 100,000 photographs worldwide and was discovered only after she died by John Maloof following a purchase of a box of her photographic negatives and championed her work. Like new.

London The Photographers Gallery 2015

2015 First edition. Very good with dust wrapper. Essential for the career of Shirley Baker, pioneering woman photographer. It concentrates on a rich 20-year period, in which she photographed the working-class neighbourhoods of inner-city Salford and Manchester as they were experiencing protracted slum clearance.

Leeds City Council 2009

136pp illustrated with b/w plates and thumbnails in an end section on contrasting yellow paper. Beautifully designed book with essay by Caryl Phillips inserted as a special section in the book. A Lasting Moment showcases Marc Riboud's photographs of Leeds in 1954, in which he captured post-war lifye in the city. The photographs were lost and then rediscovered in 2004, on a visit when Riboud returned to Leeds. This copy has some scuff marks on upper boards but a very good copy.

Limited edition no 323 of 950 copies signed by the photographer, photographs of Barrett, Pink Floyd's founding member and lead in the group. Rock met Barrett in Cambridge in the mid-1960s, and they then share a house together, in London, between 1969 and 1971. Quarto. Full page photographs by Mick Rock. Original quarter orange leather with blue boards, lettering to front cover and spine gilt, all edges gilt. Housed in the publisher's illustrated slipcase. A very good copy.

A compilation of Hinde's postcard images of Butlin's holiday parks, a key offering of traditional UK seaside resorts that provided affordable holidays for "ordinary" British families. Includes photography by Elmar Ludwig, Edmund Nägle, and David Noble.

220x150mm b/w photographs. Three photographs showing the interior layout and exterior of a wartime adaptation of a van for entertainment. Microphone and piano evident in one photographs. Second-hand vans, painted camouflage green, were first used in East London and by the end of 1940 there were 500 vans bringing refreshments to troops, rescue workers and victims of bombing raids.

Produced to accompany an exhibition at the Architectural Association. Yerbury witnessed the rise of the modern movement and recorded it thus. One of the only publications documenting his life and work in this key period.
