London G.L.C Community arts Programme 1986

174pp b/w illustrations + charts/diagrams etc. 4to illustrated wrappers. a highly significant up spaces for marginalized voices, supporting Black cultural production and community led initiatives. The intend programme was led by Ken Livingstone and could be considered revolutionary in its proposals. Soon after production, the GLC was abolished but arguably the proposals began a wider movement in participation in the arts across many underrepresented communities.
