Foulis] Seven tipped in colour plates along with other b/w illustrations. Paper covered boards with brown cloth spine. Black lettering on upper board and gilt titles on spine. Quarto. Deckled edged pages. Slight foxing inside but book block generally very good indeed. Outer boards a little scuffed with a bump on the right edge of the upper board. Mark from what looks to be a sticker on the spine. Fourteen chapters addressing; Egyptian pigments, Classical Mediums, Fresco Painting, Illuminated Manuscripts, Oil Paint etc.
