A beautifully presented catalogue of Nash's 140 woodcuts, all of which were made between 1919 and 1935. With an introduction by John O'Connor and a loosely inserted presentation copy of a review from Hortus, bound in the same decorative paper. One of 750 copies, this is a lovely pieces of book design, and a valuable collection of some of Nash's less well-known work. Typed letter from Jeremy Greenwood, signed, concerning delay in publication loosely slipped in.

The drawings, reflect the privations of the war and anxieties about the new world after by an important English surrealist artist.
