4to. Large 4to. Green Rexene, gilt lettered. Decorated end papers. Good set. Boards a little dusty. Volume 1 is confined to public buildings. The scope of the volumes, however, broadened with production. The last of this set was published in 1915. A Further volume (6) was published after the first world war and is often not present in the set as is often the case. An impressive record of contemporary buildings. Volumes include indexes to both buildings and architects. Hard to find.

xii + 299pp illus with frontis +13 b/w plates and one fold out map. Studies of old town mostly in Franch, many off the beaten track, recorded by Blomfield in his travels. With signature on front end paper of F W Troup dated 1932. Troup 1859-1941 was an Arts and Crafts man throughout his life with a particular interest in leadwork and was an excellent craftsman himself. He was Master of the Art Workers Guild in 1923 and Hon Sec of the SPAB in 1940.
