Vg. With introductory essays by: Dawn Ades, Nigel Coates, J. Christopher Joner, John Thackara. Collection of material for Daniel Weil's 'Light Box' installation. Mechanism of opening box slightly damaged because of poor assembly when made. Hard to find. The box explores the 1980s works of the 1980s. Best known for his deconstructed radio in a clear bag which challenged the idea of audio equipment always being in a black box.

The volumes illustrate a close relationship between typographer and illustrator. The effect is of an ancient portfolio updated. For instance the title page, originally by Christian Le Blon 1638 is neatly updated using the same structural arrangement of the page. No 648…

The Metallization of a Dream is the title of a collaborative project between the critic Lawrence Alloway and the artist Eduardo Paolozzi, which resulted in the publication of this limited edition. The book was designed by John Munday in collaboration with the artist.
