George Ashdown Audsley (1838-1925) was born in Scotland and originally apprenticed to architects A & W Reid in his birth town of Elgin. Audsley along with his brother is mostly remembered for publications on architecture and decoration. Throughout his working life he was interested in design of organs and his book is a massive study which is still considered the foundation of 20th century designs for organs, ranging between pipe organs and smaller types. Hard to find.
