The History of the Skyscraper (1929)
New York Da Capo Press, Reprint 1977
72 pp. text, 134 monochrome plates. Original cloth with silvered lettering. Folio. Ex library with discrete class mark on spine and one stamp on verso of title page. Very useful survey on the design of skyscrapers in their heyday. Reprint of the 1929 edition published by Archaeology & Architecture Press, Paris and New York Mujica, Architect was at the time of writing professor of the University of Chile but had carried out extensive researches in Mexico and his text links the pyramid structures of Mexico to the skyscraper. Photographs a little grainy else a great resource on early skyscrapers.
