Glasgow Alexander Thomson Society 1991-2012

A a complete run from 1-41 Occasional publication in the early years with either two or three issues being created a year. Gavin Stamp was the initial acting secretary then founding chairman of the Society and the first two issues are in typescript. Subsequently issued as a printed b/w newsletter stapled. The early years contributions show Gavin Stamp to be almost single handed providing the content. Founded in 1991. The Alexander Thomson Society was founded to promote and safeguard the works of the Scottish architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. Numbers 1-37 bound in a single volume, blue rexene. Numbers 38-41 loosely inserted at the back of the volume. From the collection of James Stevens Curl without a bookplate. The Society continues to issue newsletters but only on line.
