Admit …". On the bottom left corner of the card, implies this was an a country house sale [?] admission card or an admission card for an exhibition. Country house sales of paintings at this time were a major fixture of the British art market. .Card slightly dusty with a scuff mark on right side. Staining on verso suggest it may have been in a scrapbook at some point in its history.
