Texts by Bill Gadsby. Gadsby commissioned Graham in 1975 to produce 20 paintings of Leicestershire to compliment his words and record the County. The project expanded and the resulting book contains over one hundred and fifty paintings, drawings and prints by Graham. Folio. 365mm x 385mm Green cloth boards, contrasting black leather backed spine with gilt titling to the spine. Limited to 150 copies. This number 122 signed by Graham on colophon. Decorated end papers. The book was issued with a slipcase, not present with this copy Very good copy. Small scuff on upper area green board affecting about 2 cm of the green cloth. Produced in part as a homage to the lithographer John Flower who in the early 19th century produced a record of the buildings and landscapes of the County.
