Two large-format spiral bound calendars (measuring w42cm x h60cm), printed single sided in full colour. In original postal packaging complete with address labels from Helpworth Building Products. 1991 Calendar includes a printed note from John Carter, Managing Director of the Buliding Supplies Firm. Calendar includes portraits of Edwin Lutyens, Louis Kahn, Hassan Fathy, Mario Botta, Joseph Hoffman, Eric Mendelsohn and Richard Meier amonst others. 1992 Calendar includes printed letter from David Lemon, Managing Director at Hepworth Building Products. The 1993 calendar features new portraits of Eric Mendelsohn and Richard Meier and others of Buckminster Fuller, Terry Farrell, Mies van der Rohe etc. From the collection of Dr Whittal, Lecturer in Architecture at Nottingham University. Louis Hellman is an architect turned cartoonist. He is most revered for his Archi-têtes series - caricatures of architects which use elements of their own buildings, whilst playing on the anthropomorphic elements in architecture. The series was actually conceived as competition entry to the Architectural Review in 1984 which Hellman won. Unused. Very good.
