In 1906 Baillie Scott published House and Gardens, an illustrated survey of his works which gives a detailed account of his work and ideas at this point in his architectural career. The work is divided into two parts, the first containing Baillie Scott's philosophy of design profusely illustrated with drawings and plans. A later second section was published towards the end of his career and that book contains actual commissions including Findon, Rose Court, Blackwell, the 'House for an Art lover,' Bexton Croft, Five Gables, as well as projects from abroad include furnished rooms for Darmstadt and Mannheim.
