with Catalogue of the Margery Fish Nursery, 1975-6 published after her death. The Christmas cards illustrate scenes, photographed or drawn of her famous cottage garden. One image is a reproduction of a wood engraving by D P Fishur. All the cards are signed in pen, one dated 1964. One card contains a hand written message to the intended recipient. The cards vary in size from 172x122 mm to 140 x 89mm. Very good condition. The Nursery Catalogue is 22pp listing plants available. Wrappers show the cottage on the upper wrapper and a map on the verso showing the location and routes to it. Fish's career, like many women gardeners is currently being re-assessed. She is most well know for her book " 'We Made A Garden" that chart her making a garden with Walter Fish. Very good collection of items.
