Ink smudge on upper wrapper else good. Inter war trade catalogue for this huge furniture store, located on the Boulevard Magenta near Gare de'Est. This was the first premises of Wolff Lévitan (1885-1966), a Jewish furniture entrepreneur, who started a furniture factory and the store in 1920. Lévitan subsequently moved his business to 85-87, rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin. That store was confiscated by the Germans during their occupation of Paris.
