A little bumped at corners. With bookplate of Colin Amery. Byron travelled to India in 1929 as special correspondent for the Daily Express, and also took in Tibet. An appreciation of architecture is a strong element in Byron's writings. He was a forceful advocate for the preservation of historic buildings and a founder member of the Georgian Group. His interest in architecture shines through in this book.
