149pp, coloured frontispiece and 17 colour plates each with captioned tissue guards. 4to 255 x 195 mm, Olive green gilt decorated binding with paste down image by King on upper board. Top edge gilt. Free end papers browned. Some brown spotting to deckle edges of the book else a very bright copy of this book. Gowans and Gray had commissioned her to do 18 water colours of the bridges of Paris before she left England for Paris in 1911 and this book is the result.
