Unpaginated alphabet book.  pp. title page and contents in red. Illustrations are in black, gold yellow and white, with occasional additions of red. 4to. Pictorial boards, cloth spine. Boards a bit dusty and rubbed at edges else good. Ownership inscription on front end paper in ink. Some brown spotting throughout but still a good copy. Evoe was Edmund George Valpy Knox (1881-1971), poet and satirist, brother of Catholic theologian, Ronald Knox, and editor of Punch. Illustrations by artist Isobel Dorothy Joyce Dennys (1893-1991), depict skiing, ice skating, curling and various après-ski activities. She lived in both the UK and Australia.
