Engraved half title with image of cathedral by F Nash, lettered title following, xx + 240pp. Illustrated with 19 plates and 2 vignettes, tissue guards on plates. Quarter calf, cloth boards. Gilt decorated spine with raised bands and title. Binding rubbed, cloth speckled from age. Scattered foxing throughout. Ascribed to Dodsworth on the title, and presumably commissioned and paid for by him, the text was in fact written by Henry Hatcher (1777-1846).
