Perspectives on Architecture: Issue 1 Volume 1
London Perspectives April 1994
96 pp colour + b/w illustrations + period ads. 4to illustrated gloss wrapper VG. First issue of this journal, with a piece on the Prince of Wales, unusually 'speaking up for modern architecture'. A good source of insight into architectural projects of the period including an article titled 'It came from outer space' giving a critique of Nicholas Grimshaw's arrivals and departure building at London Waterloo. As well as a piece titled 'Where will the millenium cash go?' The introduction preceded by a line illustration by Ptolemy Dean states the new journal's philosophy of bridging the gap between professionals and the public.
