YORK NATIONAL BOOK FAIR
VISIT OUR SHOP DURING THE YORK NATIONAL FAIR WEEKEND
It is not long before the weekend of the York National Book Fair which is held at the Knavesmire Suite, York Racecourse. The fair dates are 14th-15th September. We will be exhibiting at the Fair and have put on one side some lovely items. The emphasis on our stand this year will be on some of the superb chromolithographic colour plate books produced by Owen Jones and his contemporaries. We will have for sale his “One Thousand and One Initial Letters” [1864] which rarely appears for sale, as well as books with colour plates by Audsley, Collings, Pugin and Digby Wyatt.
Our bookshop is open throughout the fair. There is a shuttle bus to and from the Fair which can pick you up or drop you off at the railway station, from where it is an easy walk to the shop. We have lots of new books on our shelves in all areas of art, design, architecture and photography so if planning a visit to the York Book Fair; we will welcome you at the bookshop.
