DAVID PIERCE, THE LONG APPRENTICESHIP: A Writer's Memoir

On April 26th we held a launch party for David Pierce, writer on W B Yeats, James Joyce and others to celebrate the launch of his Memoir, The Long Apprenticeship. This was a great evening with David signing books for friends, family and customers. The shop was buzzing with literary conversation against the backcloth of our arts books. Everyone seemed to enjoy the occasion. There were readings from the book, wine and humour. The rain beat on the roof but inside the party continued. If you want a copy of David's fascinating narrative packed with often droll comment you can pick one up at our shop.
