Our new catalogue on the Arts and Crafts Movement and Early Modernism will be out in the next 10 days. It is curious that whilst the British Arts and Crafts Movement was in full flight and evident the seeds of early modernism had already been sown. This list parallels the two approaches to design. Contact me if you would like a copy. The image shown here is from Norman Bel Geddes book Horizons (1932)  which is included on the list and addresses the issues of streamlining in design.
