Buy your Christmas presents from us this year! We have a great selection of books which will appeal to anyone remotely interested in art, architecture and design. We also have a really good selection of modern and early prints and drawings for those who feel the gift of a book is just not the right thing.  Any books bought from us can be mailed to your friends gift wrapped in beautiful hand printed papers from the Penfold Press, York. Finally we are stocking Christmas cards designed by York's rising star in the art world, Mark Hearld. These are christmas cards designed to support the charity Paintings in Hospitals. We specialise in the sale and purchase of rare and out of print books on architecture and building, landscape design, design history, international exhibitions, town planning and fine art mainly published 1800-1950. Our stock includes original drawings and photographs.
