5pp introduction, 7 separate single sided plates showing designs for cottages some individual and some in rows together with plans. Specification for each design on double page plates. 4to. Red gilt decorated boards, later red morocco backed spine. Very nice item. These are plans for model housing for labourer's built at a time when agricultural improvements and improvement of labourers' social conditions including rebuilding of rural cottages was high on the Agenda of many land owners.
